For those of you not in the know, IBB has decided to dump the ruling PDP for a yet to be disclosed party. IBB at the height of his power played political football with politicians and indeed all on Nigeria, he disqualified people willy-nilly. But he went a step too far when he annulled the June 12 elections that were adjudged the freest and best elections in Nigeria.
It came as a sort of surprise to quite a few people when IBB went public with his aim of contesting next years Presidential elections. Quite a few people assumed that it was a done deal and that OBJ was going to make it happen and such people always claim that OBJ will simply be repaying IBB for getting him to Aso rock in the first place.
Well they all thought wrong because reports coming out of Nigeria have it that at a meeting with IBB some days ago OBJ refused to promise him the PDP ticket and asked IBB to either contest the Presidential Primaries with other candidates, resign from the PDP or remain as a chieftain in the party without any Presidential hope. IBB sensing that he was going to be disgraced at the Presidential Primaries decided to resign from the PDP and seek another party to actualise his Presidential dreams.
I was over the moon when I heard about IBB’s latest troubles. The man’s arrogance and contempt for Nigerians is beyond belief, this is a man who institutionalised corruption in Nigeria, this is a man who without any care bent Nigeria over and shagged her from behind . It is this same man who now wants to govern again. This man is clearly delusional.
OBJ by his latest move has more or less consigned IBB’s dream to the dustbin. There is no way he will get a credible platform to actualise his dreams., The other village idiot Atiku is going to use APC. Buhari is likely to get ANPP’s ticket and there is no just enough time for IBB to build a credible political platform. IBB miscalculated by hoping to get the PDP ticket. This just shows that the man was no genius (as claimed by some) he is just a stupid uneducated ex soldier man.
