Almost everybody in Naija knows that OBJ for a while had it in for James Ibori, the Governor of Delta State. For years he tried to get rid of Ibori through the now concluded “Ex Convict Trial”. Quite a few people did wonder why OBJ tried to take Ibori out.
Rumour has it that during the incarceration of OBJ by Abacha, Ibori the ex London cab driver who somehow had gotten close to the Abachas (he ran a few dirty errands for them) flooged, yes you read right, James Ibori flogged OBJ when he was detained by Abacha, It this humiliation that has been eating away at Baba.
Ibori will serve out the rest of his tenure, but if Baba behaves true to form like the proverbial elephant who never forgets, and if his man should get into Aso Rock then Ibori will have a lot to answer. He will be one of those clamped by EFCC when his immunity ends. Remember you heard it first on the Molue!
